Typical uses for this fume hood include chemical fume control, pharmaceutical compounding containment, soldering applications, light dust removal, biological applications, and many more applications that require fumes and light dust removal. The Ductless Fume Hood - Generation II utilizes a powerful fan that directs fumes and particulate from the hood into the filter chamber, containing a carbon pre-filter and a variety of main filters selected depending on the application being performed in the hood. The main filter options include HEPA (up to 99.97% efficiency on particles 0.3 microns and larger), ASHRAE (up to 95% efficiency on particles 0.5 microns and larger), ULPA (up to 99.9995% efficiency on particles 0.12 microns and larger), Activated Carbon, and specialty-blended filtration (i.e. acid gas, mercury, aldehyde, and ammonia). The filter chamber is effortlessly accessible allowing for the filters to be quickly changed without the use of any tools.

The Ductless Fume Hood - Generation II provides an effective and economical solution for many commercial, medical, laboratory, and industrial applications that require a relatively small containment area.
