Littlite® UV-A lamps are OEM products for professional use only, in inspection systems. Users should be trained and warned that UV-A light can cause eye irritation and damage, and should not be viewed directly, but should only be used to illuminate materials for their inspection. UV-A protective eyewear should be worn where the user might expose their eyes to the directly emitted UV-A radiation for long periods of time.
A user warning similar to below should be posted near any equipment using these light sources:
