This conductive applicator brush has 0.003" stainless steel wire and a lightweight, chemical resistant, non-magnetic, stainless steel handle. All components of this brush are FDA and RoHS compliant. Manufactured using strong mechanical clamping for maximum wire retention, and is adhesive-free to prevent contamination on surface areas that could be caused by leaching. This high quality brush has a trim of 1/2", handle dimensions of 6" length x 3/8" diameter, brush width of 1/2". This brush has a maximum use temperature of 900°F. For other brush size options within this series using 0.003" stainless steel wire, see parts: SST2SS, SST6SS, SST10SS.
Conductive brushes have a surface resistivity range of 10²Ω/cm - 10⁴Ω/cm and are used to remove static buildup from the work surface. Conductive brushes will act as a conduit between the charged surface and the path to ground. Made with fully conductive materials that are active static eliminators. Use conductive brushes with a wrist strap or other mechanism to provide a path to ground.
