Conductive brush with 0.003" stainless steel bristle and a hand-laced aluminum handle. The stainless steel fill material is hand-laced with stainless steel wire into its handle for maximum fiber retention and durability. This high-quality brush has a 3 x 11 row configuration, with a 7/16" trim, and a brush face of 1-1/4" x 5/16". Ideal for aggressive cleaning in tight areas when light scratching is not a concern. The fine wire cuts through heavy grease with ease and can often reach into fine crevices better than natural hairs and synthetic bristles. For a smaller conductive stainless steel bristle brush see part # 11SSA or # 22SSA.
Conductive brushes have a surface resistivity range of 102 - 104 and are used to remove static buildup from the work surface. Conductive brushes will act as a conduit between the charged surface and the path to ground. Made with fully conductive materials that are active static eliminators. Use conductive brushes with a wrist strap or other mechanism to provide a path to ground.
