Performance Package

All chair components are treated to assure grounding through the chair to ESD flooring or mat. This includes the use of conductive casters or glides, metal bases, ground control lead to assure thorough static drain if casters become insulated by dirt or dust, ESD upholstery materials, and metal-to-metal contact throughout the chair for all metal parts.

Key Features

Seat Description: Generously proportioned saddle-shaped seat is contoured and features a waterfall front for added comfort; measures 21" wide x 19" deep X 3" thick.

Back Description: This larger ergonomic backrest is 18" wide x 19" high to deliver added comfort and support for the upper lower back.

Control Description: Control allows function of the seat height activation and backrest adjustments by means of easily engaged levers which can be activated from the seated position. Seat tilt is fixed at 3-1/2° rearward while the backrest adjusts 8° forward and 13° rearward.

Base Description: Five-legged composite base with caster-to-caster diameter of 25.6" and maximum width of 24.4". T-cross-section legs ensure cleanability, and endure test loads of 1.5-2x BIFMA strength requirements. Features standard 50mm, steel-reinforced, tapered hub (1° 26' 16" (Morse) taper) with gauge line elevation of 113mm from the caster insert plane. The base is cast out of glass-filled nylon.

Footring Description (Mid and Bench Height Only): 22" dia. aluminum foot ring includes easy-to-operate hub – push down top of center bushing, adjust to desired height, and release to lock the foot ring into place. 22" flattened tubing ring is attached to the cast aluminum spokes with stainless steel screws, which utilize a T-cross section to provide a clean, cohesive look for models with aluminum (A / P25), reinforced composite (R / GR) or wide aluminum (W / P28) bases. Recommended for models with seat heights greater than 22 inches.

Caster Glide Description: Two inches in height, with dual soft-wheels. Casters resist movement when the seat is unoccupied. Plastic collar around caster stem to match base. Standard casters have grey tread.

Arms Description: Height and width adjustable armrests with black self-skinned urethane pads.
