Copper Adhesive Grounding Strip, 2" x 24"

In static-sensitive environments where static electricity and ESD present a risk, creating a safe path from static dissipative floor coatings to earth ground will help eliminate charges that could damage sensitive electronic components. Using ACL Staticide 2" wide copper grounding strips, reduces the chance of electrostatic discharge (ESD) by safely moving charges to a grounding post or grounded outlet.

Grounding can be as simple as covering the copper tape with the ESD coating and then connecting the other side of the tape to a ground source. A ground source can be an electrical outlet, conduit, building steel, or dedicated grounding bar. Typically, people use one grounding strip for every linear 1000 sq. ft. of ESD flooring, but there is no standard.
